Take action for a more equal world for women and girls

On March 1st, CARE launched it’s March4Women campaign, where we’re making the entire month of March for women (see what our President and CEO, Gillian Barth had to say about March4Women here).

More than 32 million women and girls around the world are facing humanitarian emergencies. We want you to work with us to help change this, to ensure that women and girls are not only seen and heard when an emergency hits but that they are able to play a strong role in shaping how programs and policies are built to support them.

That’s why starting today we are asking you to use your voice as a Canadian to make a difference.

Join the global movement to make #March4Women and sign our petition calling for Canada to lead efforts to uphold women and girls’ rights where they are most under threat: in conflict and emergency settings.

Together we can bring, leaders, communities and Canadians together to end inequality.
