The world is better when she leads too

COVID-19 is exposing and worsening existing inequalities, reversing many of the hard-won gains for women—and for equality—worldwide.

Women are on the front lines of the COVID-19 crisis—as health care workers, community leaders, caregivers—mobilizing the individuals, communities and support needed to build a more equal, more resilient world.

At the same time, women are often excluded from decision-making, their needs and rights ignored.

We cannot overcome the challenges facing humanity with half of the world's population left on the sidelines. Because the world is better when she leads too.
